TUNETOWN RECORDS

TuneTown Records was formed in 1988 to release Greg's single, "It's Another Joyful Elvis Presley Christmas." The record caught the attention of radio and media around the country, received wide airplay, and was named "Christmas Single of the Year" in Cashbox Magazine.

Since then Greg has continued to write and perform regularly, and TuneTown has released his new CDs every few years. He now has 6 albums in current release, along with a Boxed Set Collection of his first 4 CDs. His two most recent releases are double CDs, each with one disc of live humorous material, and one disc of studio tracks featuring top-shelf Nashville and Kansas City musicians. Almost all of the songs on the studio tracks are more serious, sensitive, thoughtful, and heartfelt. (As opposed to funny.) But always encouraging--never sliding down into that victim stuff!

Greg has sold 50,000 albums in the last 12 years, on CD and cassette, all on the TuneTown label. It's a real Independent Label Success Story, and demonstrates the possibility--the reality--of succeeding without major label or corporate support.

Here are Greg's previous releases:

  • The Shootout at the I'm OK, You're OK Corral
  • Greg Tamblyn, NCW (No Credentials Whatsoever)
  • How Could Life Be Better Than This
  • Art From The Heart
  • The Grand Design (double CD)
  • The Greg Tamblyn Collection (boxed set of his first 4 CDs)

“I just wanted to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation. I do believe I haven’t laughed as hard or as long in quite awhile. You have a warm, caring, heart-filled spirit. Keep up the great work!”
—Rev. Nina Douglas

"The grace and gentleness of you, your poetry, and your music are a real high-point for me. I was able to listen to three of your CDs as we drove through the Sierra Madre on Sunday and Monday. What a great addition to the beauty of the drive.”
—Ralph Kelly

“I continue to listen to your CD's and am amazed at your quick-wittedness on one hand and your compassionate tenderness on the other. I have two words....Awesome Coolness....”
—Sue Freeman

“When I heard Greg play for me and several hundred other people, I was amazed. Although I realized he was playing in a large hotel ballroom, I felt that he was playing just for me and a few friends in my own living room. Greg’s ability to personalize his performance, to make me feel like he was singing for me, was extraordinary. I believe that everyone in the room felt the same way.”
—James P. Miller, MD
